Kruger

The last leg of the trip was spent in Kruger National Park where we sampled the Letaba and Tsendze rivers. The park was a wonderful experience and it felt great to be in the wild. We saw lots of wild animals and stopped at the Tropic of Capricorn. We had an armed guard on watch whilst we got water and sediment cores and a couple of game watchers who were driving past stopped since we must have been a curious site next to the rivers where they must have expected to see animals drinking. Now, we are all back in Groton and looking back on everything with nostalgia.
